Since 2019 we have developed an inclusive marine waste collection program in West
Africa where we have both and environmental and social impact. Coastal communities
benefit from a new source of income and the coastal environment gets cleaned up.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

Supporting the un sustainable
development goals

From our supply chain to products manufactured with 100% Upsea™ up-cycled marine plastic, we actively contribute to 6 of the 17 Sustainable development goals that were formally adopted in September 2015 by the UN General Assembly with the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

Alleviation of poverty across
low-income fishermen
communities

Every waste collector in West Africa will
get 1€ for the amount of waste collected.

Building a clean- up family
to increase employment

We are currently increasing by 200% the
income of 500 families of fishermen
involved in the collection of plastic on
coastal areas.

Quality of education

Ensure inclusive and equitable education
for the ones in need

Combat climate change and
its impacts

and the coastal environments.

= 125 tons of fish saved

Collecting marine plastic and preventing
it from decomposing in the Ocean has a
direct impact on marine life.
